A Milwaukee native, I moved to Chicago to study information systems at DePaul University. After completing my Masters, I worked as a software developer, business analyst, and project manager in Chicago.
I began my artistic endeavor late in life, at which time I took courses in Chicago, Illinois at the Harold Washington College in 2004-2005, which introduced me to photography at the age of 38. While working in Information Technology, I began to find great interest and joy in photography. I showed my work at a few coffee shops in Chicago, and sold several pieces during this time. After a time, I felt the rewards of a potential career in art outweighed the benefits of a life in IT, so I moved to Wisconsin and soon found myself at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design.
Currently practicing online self-study in photography, I like to travel to different locations in Wisconsin and photograph using new techniques and skills combined with natural light.
I am surrounded by natural beauty and find interest in somewhat ordinary, yet beautiful, scenes. I like to find beauty in the mundane, specializing in natural light photography. I sell photographic prints by request and at my studio in Grafton, Wisconsin
I currently have a studio in the Grafton Arts Mill in Grafton, Wisconsin: http://www.theartsmill.org
